My Kings vs. Andrew Neeme | Poker Vlog #15
In my opinion, the first hand with KK was played fine. You're the preflop aggressor, so the flop bet makes sense. If the opponent floated with a Qx hand, he's likely calling the river. I'm curious to see what people have to say
The constant chip shuffling throughout all hands makes this hard to watch honestly….mad neurotic
If you want to make money at lower stakes, you need to figure out how to make BIG pots happen with marginal hands; top pair vs over pair, for instance. Most high stakes players are (correctly) not comfortable doing that. At low stakes, it's absolutely mandatory.
I've never seen nor heard of any player calling for the clock on themselves. That Russian went full Sputnik.
Thank you for posting the challenging session! I'm a new subscriber to your channel with a new vlog of my own and one day I aspire to play those tables in Vegas myself! It's a long way down the road for me however, I'm just getting started. What software do you use to make the overlays?
Haven't played this game in over a year but it was not good, full of pros. Anyways appreciate the analysis of fewer hands than a big volume of hands without. You play TAG? Would like to see more bluff hands. Bluffing is so hard!!
L trying to be another rampage??
Nice video. You kinda sound like Kermit.
hello from Russia
Won my first vegas tournament at Bally's two years ago. Can't wait to play at the new room next week while WSOP is going on. If I see ya around, I will say wassup
Not a fan of the KJ vs AA hand. I think easy fold on river.
Love the intro..!
Damn, that food looks Delicious..!
Were you also playing mostly Wynn 2/5 in your previous trips? That’s a tough game, plays very deep and with some tough players.
I listened to you talk through your first hand, talking about ranges, and how since you're deep the villain might make that play... and it made me realize how so many of us who study the game outplay ourselves at these stakes. People just love to play Ax, period. Also, when he calls the 22A flop, you're dead.
The 3-bet size with KK is too big and so is the c-bet on the flop. $175 is not small after $225 preflop. The river bet doesn't make any sense after his fast call on the flop. Obv timing tell, obv A. Since you are blocking AK a shove on the turn would have made sense.
I also watch vlogs in the car. Though I have a mount that lets me watch them.
Maybe start an OF to make that money back. You got a real purdy face.
Around 6:45 if you put him on only an 8 and the other player folds out of turn the door was wide open to bluff river and get him off the K8
on your hand with the aces, i disagree with you. i like the bet. if u shove, it is almost never a bluff. so having said that, if i am him, you are saying that u can beat a queen. there are four hands here that beat me. i can lay down this boat as it is not the nut boat. thus, u would have actually lost value for your hand! u can not assume that your opponent will auto call just because he has a strong hand. so if he thinks u already have one of these hands then i would bet to get something which is better than nothing. i have laid down pocket kings twice in my life preflop and have been correct each time. i also have laid down a set of eights on the flop on a k-8-6 rainbow board and was also correct. so unless your opponent is a calling station, whose wealthy, and who never folds, i think your bet was correct.
i know that howard stern looking player lol seen him at red rocks
Raise pre flop with k9 flop top pair and just fold to a single rasie? Why bet then ? You can't fold every time you get raised on the flop so small or you will be pushed around folding top pair all the time
Very dumb raise on set 888. You played really donkey for checking up. That's why you stay in that poker level.😅
Owch we all have had nights like that
I won’t be too critical in my feedback of your of your flop raise with 88 since it’s obviously your first day playing poker 😆
You need to get back to studying.
After seeing your title, I was gonna suggest only fans as a way to build it back. But your last screenshot showed you still have a $7k roll. Perhaps if you remembered to turn the fan off, you’d have run better.
This was a really painful watch. Wtf were you doing on the first hand? Some of the worst poker I’ve seen
A6 calling that much pre is HORRIBLE!!!
Andddd they won the pot lol
@Mike-sr6gd Annnnd being results oriented is not a thing, ask any pro. The call was still a horrible one no matter the result
always sucks to make a trip to vegas and lose, but at least you're close enough that you don't have to wait for next time. do you have plans for wsop?
i jusr lost 300 with a set of jacks vs turned flush AIPF. this video helps Ilol
I've lost full house over full house. I flopped mine and she rivered a bigger one🙄
As crazy as this is gonna sound, could have been worse.
I like fast playing sets on the flop as your opponent is much less likely to give you credit versus waiting to raise on the turn which always looks very strong. That being said, in position with such a dry board, you’re right that it’s an easy just call in that spot. Though if your opponent had AK and called or jammed you’d have felt like a genius.
Yeah I don’t think it was that bad. If he had AK/AQ you might get it in on the flop. If he didn’t even have an Ace you’re probably getting just one more bet out of him anyway.
First time watching the channel. I think you're doing a really good job.
lol I thought you were gonna get barried not even bad result
Doesn’t make any sense to bet the river with kings. He only calling u with ak aq or qq
Not just that, I think the check on the turn is what makes the river bet so bad. You are never checking the turn with AK or AQ. So for the guy with A6, since the river gives him queen kicker, he is never folding. Since the hands that beat him, AA, AK, and AQ is never checking on the turn.
first
Actually, betting 1/3rd on a flush turn card as preflop aggressor is the meta now. With bluffs, thin value and nutted value. I pretty much set the trend starting a few years back, no one was doing it, not even solvers. Now I see this year that is the solver approved line. It allows us to bet thinner on the turn and to bluff more runouts on the river for better prices, obviously very spot dependent, it comes with experience to know when is the best time to triple off here with bluffs. But yea I can safely say the meta on the turn is now 1/3rd or check on flush cards as the preflop aggressor and as defender we are using mostly polar sizes. (IE: You flat button vs UTG raise). Rivers play as check/betsmall/bigbet/150%/250% provided they play in flow. Source: I have one of the highest win rates on PA stars 200nl.
Dogebag: *bets* Some random player: "Is this a sexual message?"
Hey mate, how can I get in contact with you regarding a business proposal?
Horseshoe players are incredibly easy. Bunch if abc nits with sprinkles of maniac bluffers. If u cant beat them hand over fist then u need to reeval ur strat.
When was this session taken?
Not a fan of the Resorts World vibe, it's probably my least favourite poker room on the strip. I haven't checked out Sahara but based on your footage I may try. Thanks Kiet, keep it up!
sorry im just upset because the hand we played you make me sound like a spaz bc i bet 90$ into a small pot vs the guy that was calling any size all night and you left out the part when i made that huge overbet i won the pot...
do you gotta be on top to be washed up
Bro finally learned that the Wynn poker room is actually at Encore 😂
Nice session! And good luck with the bluffing when repping a pot control check from the previous street...that's so strong especially without blockers and definitely one level above the next level playing in your part, particularly in low stakes games!
Stop playing poker. You suck bro
I think you need to beef up your pre flop sizing. Making it 12 over multiple limps is just too small. River bet when u make the nuts with AJ should be polarized over bet to look bluffy or way smaller to get called very thin. Plus a smaller river bet could induce people to spazz every once in a while. Win win. Just discovered your vlog and I like intro and graphics good luck on the grind.
Good Luck in Vegas
